Adventures in space, epic side scrolling action, monsters and mystery… all that’s missing is you!
Humanity’s last hope needs your help.
When the lunar colony of Barimos is decimated by a mysterious attack, only one soldier remains standing: Sen, a rookie on her very first mission. She’s the most promising recruit the System Defense Force has ever seen, but will her talent be enough to protect her from an enemy that a whole army couldn’t defeat?
Cake Machine Games’ “Project Sen”, launching in 2014, is an all-new 2-D platformer inspired by Megaman X and Super Metroid. Using the classic jump, duck, and blast action you know and love, you’ll guide Sen through the alien landscapes of Barimos as she fights her way towards the truth. You and Sen will unlock new abilities, artifacts, and areas as you progress – with even more content available after you’ve beaten the game.
“Project Sen” features lush backgrounds, detailed sets, and carefully rendered characters to create a living world to immerse yourself in.
Sen has what it takes to stand up to robots, monsters, and just about anything else on this dangerous moon – but only if she has you to back her up first. Are you ready to accept the challenge?
Please SHARE, REBLOG as much as possible help our dream come true.
Hey! Help our pals out if you can!!
she gives me bad vibes and woops i ended up really liking this one so have a detail shot, i’ll finish some other day.
Reblogs self here too, we aint dead yet!! We’re just sleepin’ in a hyperbolic time chamber, training, revving up and waiting to fire!! I’m quite happy with how this ones looking, when i’m done it will probably as another limited run print, yaeh?
I’ve reserved my tickets early for Rebellions Canadian Primer next month: have you? why haven’t you!? (Scroll down for the Canadian times.) They’re giving away nifty posters and autograph boards to those who show up early!! ((plus for those who say yo, I might bring something special along..))
Commission for Chris: New promo art for TOME!!
I’m personally very happy with how this turned out. Can’t wait for the next episode of the show, too!
Audrey here with promo art for TOME’s Gemini Tournament arc! It’s an absolute blast to work with Chris and his characters on stuff like this, and TOME’s always been something I’ve enjoyed since I was a wee bab in high school. Watching it grow and being able to contribute has been really special to me and it’s turned into something really great— so please be sure to give this series your support!
We got interviewed by SeaOfRabbitz at 2:30!! Can ya tell I was nervous??? ((´• ω •`))
Bulletproof+ Recap: Anime Revolution
YO! Sam K here: So first off I wanna give a HUGE thank you to everyone that stopped by at both AR and AE. We had an extremely awesome time at both conventions. Overall we did about twice as well as we did the previous year, which is really saying something considering that we were in a hole before the conventions began. (We had to order two banners and didn’t get our money back for the first one… That’s a story for another post though.) Anyways, I especially want to thank our returning patrons, our neighboring tables for moral support and of course, you for visiting us here and reading these words~♥
This was also our first year together as a team with an official logo, mascot and team banner:
The logo (and mascot whom i’ve dubbed as: Ammo) were a collaborative effort from all of us as a team, Audrey handled building the logo text, I compiled it in flash and handled the “graphic artists” text bit. Izu conceptualized the mascot and the general shape of the logo and kuu was there for suggestions and extreme moral support. We’re quite happy with the logo overall because it resembles an ammo/health pickup from a vidya game. For those who dont know, Bulletproof+ is named after a compliment I received during my live portfolio review for college at Emily Carr! (which I’ll be attending sometime next year??) We’re stronger than bulletproof! Together We’re “Bulletproof+”!!!
We would like to make it clear that we’re all just individuals and that we’re not a “business” or a really even a proper “company” yet, but more-so we’re just collective of artists huddling together doing what we can to support ourselves as a team.
…Anyways onto ANIME REVOLUTION 2013 RECAP!!!
[Day one] • START!!!
Nothing too big on Day 1, a whirlwind day. The pre-reg day that AR provides is extremely helpful, so figuring out figuring out how to put things out during pre-reg and setting up the grates made setting up on Day 1 super easy (From an hour of panicking, to half an hour of putting things together then relaxing).
•[ Skull-Girls comes out on steam with DLC August 22nd!!! ]•
Our collaborative pin set sold decently, and we got a whole mess of folks hyped up for the game!!!
Chunni & Candice at Haute-Geek (our neighboring table with the dresses) where extremely friendly! They shared their foods with us and stuffs and where general sweethearts!!
Kuu and myself now each own one of their bows and feel very extremely cute!! Check back to their site sometime because the work they do is very graceful! Chunnis patterns are quite well crafted!!! ♡.º( ᵘ ᵕ ᵘ )º.♡
Not to forget that the artists next door at ‘our shits cheap’ lent us their markers periodically when we needed them as well!! Don’t be fooled by their name, they’re pretty generous. So a huge shout-out and thanks to them all of them too!!
Onto day 2!!!
[ Day 2 ] • Sick—HONOR!!!!
Day two wound up being the slowest of the three, But of course it wasn’t without its own excitement! Kuu came dressed as sonic and I actually wound up being pretty sick in the morning, a mix of anxiety and bad tea/spaghetti. So Kuu let me have a breather and take a few walks around. I got finally prints and stuff from friends! (I’ll do a separate post for that later once they’re all hung up in my room.)
Coincidence was very strong this year because I had no idea that the voice actor of Teddie was going to be there. The print was created as a commission for Audrey, who wanted me to draw as much ‘Night-bear fuel’ into Teddie as I possibly could. I started it last year and wasn’t sure if it was even going to be done in time! But I’m glad I pulled through. This makes Kappei the second voice actor to own something of mine that coincidentally coincided with their works! (The first one being Sailor Moon’s voice actress from the previous year!!!)
Kappei didn’t just do Kumas voice however, he also did Tombo from Kiki’s Delivery Service, which is a movie that I would fall asleep to as a child. So needless to say, it absolutely means the world to me that he now owns a print of mine, especially one that I honestly put my all into over the course of a year. I’m just sad that i forgot to get a photograph again… But at least we shook hands!!! 8)
…and speaking of insane coincidence: The wedding that Audrey got called away to, wound up being the same one that our well traveled returnee Joe wound up going to, they’re now linked through cousins, the world is absolutely teeny-tiny!!!
[ Day 3 ] •
AS WELL one of our guests Atapi’s buttons completely sold out! (The one on the left.)
I’m quite happy to say that she will likely having her own table (or will hopefully at least continue to be our guest) sometime next year!!
We will probably be keeping the setup similar to this for next time, (originals on one side, fan-works on the other) but making it look and feel just a little bit more tight, with better organization and proper menus for commissions and pricing, i also like the banner behind us rather than on the front of the table, because in future we will be able to put posters down there instead!
Overall, Revolution was a very good convention with fun times and good peoples~♥ We met some cool new friends saw some new faces and had a spiffing good show!
My business card wall now houses over 200 artist’s cards (pics later) and Kuu got more commissions than ever. Kuu also did a commemorative group drawing of us & Team Haute Geek!!!
• So Whats Next?
In the following months, I will be setting up a Store Envy Shop for us as well as a proper commission page. If you want to, you’ll be able to order ahead of time for specialty commissions from us. If you want to have something in particular reserved for yourself, it will be easy to arrange!! (that includes getting graphics on shirts or as stickers and stuff, and of course, pins!)
Despite this online shop, do remember that most of our buttons and prints will only be available yearly at the live events!! As well, that most of our fanwork pins are limited run, meaning that they’re only there as long as they’re in stock for (then rarely or perhaps never again..!)
We’re still deciding what conventions we will be doing for next year but, so far it looks like AE & AR will be our team’s regular targets! When I finish fine-tuning Fungi-Panic a bit more, I would very much like to attempt VANCAF 2014, but we will see about that. We will continue to give it our all, well into the next year!! Thank you again!!
If you have any Questions, Suggestions, Comments, Inquiries, Critiques, Concerns or are curious about something or if you just would just like to chat with us, please feel free to leave us an ask!!
hey look, buttons! The one on the left sold out. this was totes a learning experience to test the waters and now i have a better grasp on how things work at conventions. most likely going to do this next year (and actually attend)
(thanks to sam for making them & taking this photo!!)
We’re super proud of you Pi!!! Here’s to our first guest!
I’ll have a review about the convention soon as well as pictures of these and our others on the table up sometime later tonight when i get the photos back from Kuu. (UvU)<3
in the meantime, ask some questions!
Cheers & much love!!
Day 3 of AR is over, I’ll do a full review with pics tomorrow!! i’ll probably cover AE too! For now, i am happy to micro report that this year overall, we managed to do better than ever and its thanks to everyone. \(; 0 ;)/ I’ll report betters laters ((tommorrow?)) over on bulletproof+ but for now, I’m so So so tired i’m gonna sleep right HERE—zZz
